Every year I start a fresh journal.
And at the end of each year I do an end of year review, capturing the highlights of that year.
It fills me with great confidence that as I go into each new year, the upcoming 12 months will bring exciting times and highlights too – business, personal, professional, financial, experiential, social, and in fact in all aspects of life.
Is your 2014 stretched out in front of you like a landscape of golden fields, of immense, exciting opportunity, ready for you to choose your path?
Or is it rather dark and dismal, uncertain and filled with doubt, and you are entering the fray with considerable trepidation?
Or perhaps somewhere in between… a little grey, with sunny intervals, but pretty much as normal – in fact, you feel it’s already back to business as usual?
I know many people already seem to feel that!
Try this… as a simple means of getting the motivation going, of getting a clearer picture of the possibilities ahead… I call this The Calendar Question:
At the end of the year, and looking back on the year, what will need to have happened to make it a brilliant year?
Imagine you are sitting at the end of the year and you have had total success… what sort of things will have happened… in all areas of your life, business, personal, financial, social and community, family, relationships, hobbies and interests, career, personal and intellectual development, adventures, holidays… anything in fact.
What will your highlights be? What will your 2014 journal look like and say?
